Okay, so here's the dealio...

O and I are in the midst of figuring out chapter 19 of FAITHFUL. In the meantime, I thought you might like a few more pics of my insanity, this time to give you some idea of how crazy I REALLY am.

Seed beads are small. I have 15/20 vision without my glasses, which means that most of the time I favour close-work like seed-beading because I can see it. But this... there were times I had to stop working because of eye strain, especially working with the matte black Delicas on the bottom panel.

Anyway, the response to this first posting was EXTRAORDINARY! I'm in the process of thanking everyone for their kind words and well wishes.

Think happy thoughts for me on Nov 12, when I have tickets to see DT on stage. Here's hoping I get the chance to give this to the man himself.

THANK YOU!!!!

ON WITH THE SHOW (work-safe, but trying to avoid picspam):

Just to give you some idea of how insanely small size 11 beads are. I'm only 5 foot 4 tall, which is fairly small for a woman, and my hands are proportional. (Size 6 ring)

I kind of like the arty angle of this one. When I said it fits on the palm of my hand, it's technically not true, but damn close. It's also slightly heavier than you might expect.

As I said, I'm fairly small for a woman, so keep in mind that those are fairly small hands.

Yeah, I know that's a SUCK pic of DT -- he looks quite the dork, but it's a very GOOD pic of the new TARDIS. I worked from this picture and from the "Doily of Rassilon" pattern. That's it. I freely admit to being a freak of nature -- I love the chance to make 3D art out of 2D pics.
