Author's Note: Did I say 3 chapters? Um. Well. That was just a..... MADE YA LOOK! In truth, this should've been more like nine chapters, but as it is, I think I can wrap it up in five. So this relatively short chapter, one more in a week. (Sorry -- real-life stuff is still taking up my time, but that's a good thing.) I'll be back on the once-a-week schedule for Faithful after the fifth and final chapter of this.

Summary: Teaser for "Ecstasy". (Part 1/3 to be posted this Sunday.) Assume this takes place sometime after "Countrycide" but before "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang". Tosh finds something on the internet that Jack wishes he could forget. Hilarity ensues. Fluffy and stupid.

Okay, so here's the dealio...

I'm late. Like really late. Like really really oh-my-God-there-goes-another deadline late.

And there will be no chapter 18 until Sunday.

Actually, there will be no chapter 18 Sunday either.

Why?

It's ophymirage's fault. She flew down for a surprise weekend. (Well, it was a surprise to ME, anyway; apparently, she's been plotting with my roommate and my Spice for the past two months.) [You guys should have seen her face when she figured it out. It was AWESOME. -O] We had a fantastic time, ate FAR too much, thoroughly enjoyed doing beading stuff at the shop, and stayed up far too late discussing fanfic.

You might think this would result in reams upon reams of notes and finished chapters?

Well, kind of.

I signed on for aibhinn's contest/thing with the prompt "Tease, Truth, Dance" and an OT3 ZOMG! fic. Why? Because in chapter 18 of "Faithful" I have a John/Ianto tryst, and there was an aspect of it that just bothered me incessantly, something about the relationship that I didn't quite have sorted. I couldn't identify what it was until I started thinking of this prequel!fic.

I now know what it is.

On Sunday, so will you. "Ecstasy" will be an OT3 ZOMG! prequel to "Faithful" in 3 parts.

Part 1, "Tease" will be up Sunday. I'm REALLY happy with it for many reasons. But, because it's almost double the length of a normal chapter, it's gonna take me a little longer to finish.
